Belt Manufacture
DeWAL Industries is a world leader in the manufacture of UHMW –
PE films used in the belting industry. We manufacture UHMW films
from 0.003” to 0.040” thick and widths up to 55”. Our process
capabilities allow us to supply materials to customer
requirements in both natural and black.
UHMW is used as both an
inner support layer or as an abrasion resistant outer layer.
UHMW in its natural state is FDA compliant and can be used in
food processing belting. UHMW is extremely abrasion resistant
and can be used in belts for the packaging industry for longer
life. The mining industry has used UHMW also due to its high
abrasion resistance. DeWAL UHMW forms a superior bond directly
to non-polar rubber substrates.
