Flex and Microwave Circuit board masking film and tapes
DeWAL Industries manufactures some of the highest
quality thin films on the market today. Our internal
manufacturing technologies allow us to produce skived PTFE film
as thin as 0.0005” and as wide as 50”. Our PTFE films are used
as process aides in the manufacture of flex circuits worldwide.
Circuit
board masking film and tapes from DeWAL are manufactured to fine
tolerances to ensure low rejection rates.
DeWAL manufactures an extensive line of process aide materials
used in circuit board processing including:
Specially prepared into pressure
sensitive tapes by DeWAL, each are used as high tolerance
masking materials during soldering operations.
These substrates provide excellent dielectric strength, reliable
dimensional and thermal stability along with superior tensile
strength.
The DW 904, DW D-Wrap and DW 303 ESD are primarily used in
printed circuit board manufacturing applications. DeWAL circuit
board tapes are manufactured from the highest quality blue or
clear polyester films and are coated with clean release silicone
adhesive. DeWAL tapes conform easily to irregular shapes and
allow for superior masking of even the most intricate details.
PTFE skived film from DeWAL is also used as process aide and
dielectric layers in the actual manufacture of circuit board
materials.
DeWAL films and tapes are produced from PTFE, UHMW-PE,
FEP, polyimide, glass fiber, silicone rubber, aluminum
foil, copper and polyester film substrates with
proprietary silicone, acrylic or rubber-based
temperature- resistant and chemical-resistant adhesive
systems.
DeWAL is ISO 9001:2000 registered and meets
standards set by numerous industry groups.
