| Sure-2-Vent®
is a high-performance venting liner manufactured by DeWAL Industries
using its own Poro-Tex® (expanded Teflon) membrane. This allows
positive or negative pressure of closed containers to equalize
without leaking their aqueous liquid. This product works on all
conventional containers, and even multi-chambered bottles.
Our
unique design uses a polyfoam liner, which is either perforated
or porolated and laminated to a fully faced expanded PTFE porous
membrane. This allows the gas to be vented through the liner while
keeping the liquid contained. The number of venting ports can
be varied to meet customer expectations on volumes of gas to be
vented. The Poro-Tex® membrane is specifically designed to
allow high volumes of gas through while retaining the liquid in
the container.
Covering
the entire face of the liner with the Teflon membrane and utilizing
multiple venting ports per closure ensures the highest reliability
of product available. There is no worrying about each closure
having a venting port, or if the membrane is sealed. There are
no issues with the surface smoothness or the lining up of the
vents in multi-chamber bottles.
Our
liners allow you to use them in your current process. There is
no indexing of the liner and you can run your equipment at standard
speeds. Because our liner is not indexed, the amount of closures
lined per linear yard of material used is greater than with indexed
products.
The
following are standard Sure-2-Vent® liners currently available:
D/W
952 Series – For sealing holes in Caps. Poro-Tex membrane
with either a polypropylene or polyethylene porous backer. The
backing material allows for sealing to the cap of the same type
of material. This enables pressure to equalize, yet keeps liquids
contained.
D/W
953 Series – For Child-Proof Closures. Employs a flat
backed polyfoam liner with perforated holes and a fully faced
Poro-Tex ePTFE membrane. Used for standard closures with a hole.
For medium volume removal of pressure for liquid-filled containers.
