NATURAL RUBBER:
Derived from the latex of rubber trees. It gives tack and high temperature properties to pressure-sensitive adhesives.

NIP OPENING:
This is the opening between casting and metering rolls. It controls the amounts of adhesives applied to substrate.

NON-WOVENS:
Produced by the random interlocking of fibers this backing is either natural or synthetic.

NYLON:
A polyamide plastic material that is both strong and resilient. Nylon yarn has excellent strength and elongation properties.
