PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
These products are pressure sensitive tapes using a Skived and Tensilized
PTFE film that are coated with a "high temperature" silicone
adhesive. The tensilized film provides higher tensile strength, lower
elongation and higher dielectric strength than a regular skived film.
Those products designated with an "asterisk" are UL recognized
compoments. (UL File no. E179854)
APPLICATION
INFORMATION
These tapes are used primarily in electrical applications such as coil
wraps and separators, tranformers, slot liners and harness wrapping
where good insulation and heat resistance are needed. They are also
used in mechanical applications requiring high temperature resistance
and a non-stick surface such as roll protection in flat die extrusion.
This product can be used in place of 5491, HM650, and 2255-5.
