PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
These products are pressure sensitive tapes using a skived and tensilized PTFE film that is coated with a " high temperature" silicone adhesive. The tensilized film provides higher tensile strength, lower elongation and higher dielectric strength than a regular skived film. D/W 244-2 has been etched on the top surface so its now bondable to itself or other materials (ex. adhesives). Those products designated with an "asterisk" are UL recognized components. (UL File no. APPLICATION INFORMATION
These tapes are used primarily in electrical applicatons such as coil wraps and separators, transformers, slot liner and harness wrapping where good insulation and heat resistance are needed. This product can be used in place of 62, hm352, p423, and 901
