PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
DW402HP is a porous film produced from skived Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE).

The process yields a highly uniform pore structure in the X, Y, and Z directions.

The porous film is naturally hydrophobic, however it can be made hydrophilic through surfactant and plasma treatments.

APPLICATION INFORMATION
DW402HP has an open cell, tortuous path structure with a porosity up to 45%.

Application areas would include liquid and air filtration, vents, diagnostics, wicks, and support media for finer membrane structures, where porosity, chemical inertness and mechanical strength are important.
