D-WRAP

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
D-Wrap is a 1mil blue high temperature high tensile polyester film coated with a fully cured silicone adhesive. There is no contamination problem from the silicone adhesive because it is fully cured and does not transfer.

APPLICATION INFORMATION
D-Wrap is multi purpose high temperature tape designed for holding or masking operations in metalbond and plastic shops. Today it is in many other areas throughtout the plant in chemical milling, riveting and paint shops. It is used as a maskant on pannels subject to caustic or acid bath etching. D-Wrap is far superior to paper tapes because it will not cause a fire in your oven or autoclave and it will not leave residue on your tool surfaces. D-Wrap has also been recommended for use by aircraft companies on metal surfaces that have been phosphoric annodized because it releases clean without leaving a residue. This product can be used in place of 1280, m-50, p232, and 9180.
