Poro-Tex films are used in medical applications such as venting
media, microfiltration, sterile barriers for medical devices and
noninvasive/nonimplantable medical membranes as well as possible
applications in clean room garments. Poro-Tex is an expanded PTFE
made using state of the art technology that is chemically inert
and can withstand temperatures of 500 F. Because Poro-Tex is made
from PTFE it is naturally water repellent and has excellent chemical
resistance
