Their close tolerance dimensional quality allows for uniform wrap and adhesion. Should abrasive fluids cause concern, UHMW linings resist most erosive materials such as paints and powders. Their FDA compliance, resistance to steam sterilization, and near odor-free quality allow for use in food, beverage and pharmaceutical applications. All materials can be treated for bonding to most substrates and UHMW readily bonds without adhesives to nonpolar rubbers.
